Inside Prime

Understand the result behind each vehicle

Connect vehicle purchase costs, parts sales and recorded expenses to see how each vehicle is performing.

Start with the cost of the vehicle

Prime’s vehicle records bring the purchase price and recorded running costs into the same workflow as the parts that vehicle produces. Orders linked to those parts provide the sales side of the picture.

See sales alongside the costs of selling

Vehicle reporting includes sales revenue, order expenses, shipping and recorded vehicle costs. This helps you compare vehicles and investigate where money is being spent. Order-level reports also show marketplace fees and shipping, so you can look beyond the headline selling price.

The result depends on the transactions and costs recorded. Vehicle and order reports have different scopes; your wider business accounts also need overheads and any other costs outside these records.

Keep estimates separate from money received

Scrap records distinguish pending estimated value from actual scrap sales. Unsold stock and an asking price are not cash received. Use these figures alongside the vehicle’s recorded financial result when deciding what to keep, sell or recover.

Make VAT amounts easier to follow

Supported billing workflows separate net, VAT and gross amounts. Customer credit-account calculations can handle VAT-inclusive or VAT-exclusive prices. During onboarding, we confirm the settings appropriate to your workflow.

These operational reports support your records; they do not replace your accountant or a tax return.
